When chef Matt Kemp took this historical venue from the fine diner restaurant Balzac to the more relaxed Montpellier, in 2012, Chiaro Screens was commissioned to provide partitioning sensitive to the original sandstone walls and heritage nature of the premises.

Space dividing screens were laser cut in 25mm MDF in Chiaro Screens design “Celtic Reversed” while design “Celtic” was used to infill the openings in the sandstone walls which separate the entry and front dining areas from the rear dining. Light filters through the pattern between the spaces. The screens were finished in a hand applied rust to compliment the sandstone.
